Everyone Deserves Community.
Friends of the Cecil is the intentional supportive community of the historic Hotel Cecil, now serving as permanent housing on the edge of Skid Row. Here, residents and unhoused neighbors find hospitality, community, case navigation, and hope.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, Coffee & Toast brings people together around a simple breakfast and genuine hospitality. It is a welcoming space where residents and unhoused neighbors can enjoy a meal, build relationships, learn about available resources, and begin the day in community. Learn More
No Price Tags, Just Choice. Our Free Boutique provides clothing, housewares, and personal care items to residents and neighbors at no cost. Whether someone is moving into housing with only the clothes on their back or preparing for a job interview, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to choose the items that best meet their needs. The Boutique is open for monthly community shopping days, with emergency assistance available as needed. Learn More
Our Food Bank is supported entirely through the generosity of our community, with no government funding. We provide emergency food assistance when it is needed most, along with regular shopping days where guests can choose the foods that best meet their needs. Learn More
